The classical music and children.
In a first encounter with music, both adults and children, may feel a compelling desire to run away and leave behind all those composers with their wigs, mistakenly thinking they've stumbled upon something boring and useless, nothing comparable to the Smartphone, consoles or action movies.
At this time we are still unaware of all the good values and feelings that carries and transmits music to all learners to listen, values and feelings that can really help children who are beginning the journey of their lives. This learning process requires only that the friendship between the children and the music starts cautiously, patiently, without obligations, like any good friendship. In this work we are responsible parents and educators. The approach to music should be started as a game, a fun, trying to link the music listening activities which children enjoy. So, the first few minutes of impatience in the seats of the concerts will be easily overcome and give way to moments of fun.
Since the months of pregnancy is advised listening to Mozart pieces so that later, when infants are separated from their mothers, find it easier to recognize the composer heard before birth and they evoke feelings of calm and protection.
Mozart's music is simple, cheerful, rhythmic, optimism is contagious. We say experts favoring neuronal development, enhances creativity and imagination of children. We can begin to "rejoice" with the "Little Night Music", the "Rondo Alla Turca", the "Sonata No. 16 K545", the "Minuet from Divertimento No 2 K229" ... The examples are endless, as the talent of the composer.
Children enjoy dancing, moving and acting out all the energy they carry for their few years. Listening to classical music can combine with psychomotor activities. We can get them out to dance the waltz from "Sleeping Beauty" by Tchaikovsky and, meanwhile, hum the famous ditty "are you my prince charming ..."
Children enjoy seeing images. Not only children but also adults we were glued to the screen watching cartoons in which we hear precious pieces of classical music.
In the movie "Fantasia" from Walt Disney's "Pastoral Symphony" of Beethoven accompanies a scene dedicated to beings and creatures of Greek mythology, the flowers, fairies and mushrooms dance to the rhythm of "The Nutcracker" by Tchaikovsky, "Dance of hours "of Ponchielli is choreographed by ostriches, hippos, elephants and crocodiles a comic ballet that ends in a mess," The Rite of Spring "by Stravinsky accompanies the scene beginning of the cosmos, the solar system, the planet Earth and life and "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" by Paul Dukas, sounds while watching Mickey Mouse sorcerer with a very limited knowledge. We can say that the fun is guaranteed!
Everyone has music skills for understanding and enjoyment and also for interpretation. Music is an important value in education, can make us better, overcome our problems, change our mood, Growth and intelligence.
